Hidden Expression

Knows the shade and how to call upon it to achieve their means.

Skills: Attune to the Shade: When you pass through a gate to the Shade, your Prowess, Insight, and Fortitude each increase by 1. This does not count as a Grant. They return to normal when you return from the Shade. Find the Shade: Gain Research topic "Shade Geography"

Unnamed Skill: Once per short rest choose melee, missile, or packet, until your next short rest, all called damage attacks of that type can be ""to Shade"" and the damage increased by 1.

Additionally, all of your beneficial effects can be ""By Shade""

Shade Step: Once per long rest, spend an Insight and role play looking at a place for one minute. At the end of the minute, you turn to spirit and can walk directly to that place. Any effect ""To Spirit"" or ""To Shade"" will break the effect and break your travel. While you are spirit you are immune to any other effects.

This ability will not allow you to pass through walls, gates, or other barriers. You must be able to walk there. A surface that causes damage does not prevent travel, nor do guards.
